I’m Monique, a Research Scientist with a lifelong curiosity about human behavior, connection, and what helps relationships truly thrive. My academic background trained me to observe patterns, ask thoughtful questions, and create methodologies that provide authentic results —skills that now form the foundation of my approach as a Sex and Relationship Consultant/Coach.

My professional journey spans academia, research, and outdoor education, where I’ve worked closely with individuals and groups navigating communication, trust, vulnerability, and personal growth. Whether in a classroom, in the field, or one-on-one, I’ve always been drawn to the spaces where learning meets lived experience—and where people are invited to show up more genuinely.

Over time, my scientific interest in behavior, anatomy, and physiological systems naturally expanded into a deeper focus on relationship dynamics, healthy communication, sexuality, and intimacy. I am especially interested in how nervous systems, embodied learning, and social context shape the way we give and receive love. I bring a science-informed, trauma-aware, and sex-positive lens to my work, blending research with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools clients can actually use.

As the founder of Explore Amore, I support individuals, couples, and more who want to deepen connection, improve communication, and cultivate more fulfilling intimate lives. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you and be on your team —helping you understand yourself and your relationships more clearly, build skills with intention, and explore intimacy in ways that feel aligned, embodied, and empowering.

At the core of my work is the belief that intimacy is both an art and a science—and that with the right support, it can be learned, practiced, and expanded at any stage of life.
